Lucy completed a Master of Physiotherapy following a Bachelor of Health Sciences at Sydney University. She has previously worked across a number of hospitals in both Sydney and in the UK, showing a special interest in rehabilitating those post orthopaedic surgery. She has gained experience treating this population group using gym equipment and through hydrotherapy.
During her time in the UK Lucy completed Pilates training with the APPI and has experience treating individuals and small groups using this method. This has helped her fully rehabilitate her patients particularly suffering with back and neck pain. Lucy believes in the importance of combining manual therapy and exercise for rehabilitation to help clients achieve the best results and aid in the prevention of secondary injuries. She has a keen interest in the management of sports related and musculoskeletal conditions including the management of neck and back complaints, knee and ankle injuries.
In the past, Lucy has played netball, water polo, touch football and basketball, and more recently has taken a keen interest in running completing her first half marathon. When not in the clinic, Lucy enjoys being at the beach, checking out Sydney’s foodie scene and travelling to new places.
Lucy is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
